Elise Brown and Steve Witt are American Singer-Songwriters with direct, honest stories, painful, whimsical and sometimes tinged with optimism. Jazzy folky goodness and satisfying harmonies are the sound. They play primarily as a duo.

Elise and Steve both grew up in California, with shared mid-Western and Southern roots. Steve has played for years in rock, folk and indie bands in the Northern California Bay Area. Elise grew up with a passion for song-writing, surrounded by the sounds of primarily classical, jazz and latin music. They came together in 2017 to start their musical journey as Elise and Steve.
